Willie C. Mitchell Sr.

Willie C. Mitchell 63, of Michigan City, Indiana departed this life on November 30, 2020. 

Willie was born December 13, 1956 to Fred Mitchell and Claudine Jones Mitchell in Macon Mississippi.

He moved to Michigan City in 1970 and attended Rogers High School. Willie enjoyed walking and listening to music.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal grandparents, Minerva Jones, Fred Mitchell Sr., brother, Fred Mitchell and sister, Minerva Hollins.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Anthony Mitchell, three sisters, Alma Thomas of Brooksville, Mississippi; Minnie Pearl Thomas of Flint, Michigan; and Diane Panell of Indianapolis, Indiana;one brother Curtis Mitchell of Brooksville, Mississippi; a special cousin, Cherry Edwards, special friends, Charles Anderson and Joe Nelson all of Michigan City, Indiana; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
