William Razor Obituary

William Razor was born July 1, 1991 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, IN to Rodney Razor and Percilla K. Swanson. He was affectionately called Big Will and Big Fella because from birth he always made his presence known in the room full of strength and a humble heart.

William came to know and believe in Jesus Christ at a young age under the leadership of Youth Pastor Rick Hall of City Light Ministries in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was also a member of the former ministry 1st Pentecostal M.B.C. in Michigan City, Indiana. Upon graduation from North Central H.S. in 2010, William attended Indiana State University where his major was in Business Administration. He soon would find his soul purpose to pursue and his passion of music as an independent hip hop artist.

Over the last 10 years the artist known as C.Y.D. (Chase Your Dreams) Fredrick became a rapper, producer, actor, entrepreneur (Young Man's Moving Job & Secret Liquid), musician, comic, and community influencer traveling across the country as much as he could to promote his art. It was him being a father and family man that kept him most enthused and excited to stay grounded on the hustle for better in life. He loved his children so much. They were his added motivation to live life to the fullest and see them grow up healthy.

William enjoyed spending time with his lady love Sheena and their children Lily, Percilla and William including the rest of his family & friends as well. He enjoyed making music, watching movies, cooking, cracking jokes, and supporting community events to build a strong hip hop culture throughout the city of Indianapolis.

William Razor left earth for heaven on March 23, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal and maternal grandparents, and a brother at birth.

William Razor's legacy of love and chasing one's dreams will live on through the love of his life: Sheena Blakley, her daughter: Lily Bishop, and their two children together: Percilla Love Razor and William Swan Razor, his siblings: Rodney (Evangeline) Razor, Jermaine L.
