William Macon Jr. also known as "Bruh" was born April 9, 1945, in Brooksville, Mississippi to a Margret Smith and William Macon Sr. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
William confessed his life to Christ as a member of 1st Pentecostal Missionary Baptist Church. He later continued his path to Christ as a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. William was known for being a cool person and having fun. He loved playing cards, dominoes, and spending time with his family and friends. He was also known for his stylish wear for suits, hats, and the catch phrase " Macon Money". William will be clearly missed and forever in our hearts.
He leaves behind a Son: Troy (Shaylah) Macon; Brooklyn Park, MN; a Daughter: Felicia Eckwood; Michigan City, IN; Brother: Bennie (Theresa) Edwards, Michigan City, IN; and his beloved Stepchildren: Roy Eckwood, Tim (Tara) Eckwood; Clarksville, TN; Titus (Crystal) Eckwood, Seaford, DE; Carlotta (Alphonso) Crosby and Jackie (Johnnie) Flowers; all of Michigan City, IN his Grandchildren who were special to him along with a host of other relatives, and a lifetime of Friends.
William "Bruh" Macon Jr. gained his wings on July, 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, his Wife: Juanita Macon, his Brothers: Willie Orr, David Edwards, his Sisters: Little Ruth Macon, and Annie Ruth Edwards, He is also joined by his Stepson: Eugene Macon, A special Friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 9, at Zion Hill Baptist Church (Formerly Mt. Zion) 123 Helen St. Michigan City, IN 46360. Visitation is at 11am with service to follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be private.
