William Curry

William Curry was born August 18, 1945 to Georgia N. Foster (mother) and Anderson Curry (father) in Michigan City, IN.  William graduated from Michigan City Elston Sr. High School; he then went on to work for Pullman Standard.  Following his time at Pullman he worked as a blend specialist for Pfizer.  William retired from Owen Corning where he worked as a supervisor/ chemist. 

William was preceded in death by his mother, father, three brothers James, Calvin, and Manuel Curry, four sister Jean Cason, Helen Moore, Della Mae Curry, and Velma White.

He is survived by his siblings’ sisters Carolyn Hodges (Michigan City), Ann (Jonny) Howell of Gary, IN, Liberty (James) Corley of San Diego, California, and Brother Bobby Curry San Diego, CA. He also leaves to cherish his memory daughters Angela (Tony) Scott of South Bend, IN, Deboria Curry of Michigan City, IN, Yoland (James) Lowery of South Korea, Monica Curry of Michigan City, IN, Monique (Aaron) Young of South Bend, IN, LeAnn Washington of Mishawaka, IN.  His 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews’ friends, and special friend Mary Curry (ex-wife) that will miss him dearly.

William loved fishing, hunting, bowling, and landscaping.  He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and listening to all genre of music.

A Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 11am, Coleman and Hicks Chapel 101 S. Karwick Rd. Michigan City, Indiana 46360. 

Viewing will be 10am until time of service with Pastor Ronnie Woodfork to do Eulogy. 

Interment will be private. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers.
