Wesley DeAndre Williams

Wesley "Wes" Williams 37, of Gary, Indiana departed this life on December 28, 2020 in Gary.

Wesley DeAndre" Williams was born to Yolanda “Lovey” Griffin and Berry Williams on March 26, 1983 in Chicago, Illinois. A good name is better than precious ointment: and the day of death better than the day of birth.

Wesley ( Wes) Williams was the first born of three children. He spent the time he had in this world showing Love, loyalty and forgiveness.  It didn't matter how deeply he was hurt he always found it in his heart to forgive,  (And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any;  that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses"). He did his best to enjoy the life he was given. Through all the struggles and challenges he would say, “Ma I'm just trying to have a little fun".   He always found a bright side and a way to smile and go on. His greatest joy in life was his daughter NaRiah Williams who he would move heaven and earth to make happy.

Wes enjoyed singing, listening to music, enjoying life, but most of all spending time with his daughter.

Wes departed this life on December 28, 2020 in Gary, Indiana. As we grieve his departure Wes went on to meet his grandmothers, Nona Griffin and Clytee Williams, His grandfathers, Wesley Griffin and Dan Williams, His Great Grandfather and Great grandmother Dorothy and Ceasar Daddee Pritchett, Aunts, Pome and Katie And his brother, who took his hand and led him home Berry(Biggs) Williams.

He left so many loved ones behind His baby whom he adored, Nariah Williams, his baby sister, Shanona (Candy) Williams, Mother, Lovey Griffin, Father ,Berry Williams, his uncles, aunts a host of cousins and many friends to grieve for a moment but try to have a little fun.

Wes will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
