Timothy Alan Cooper

His Story...

Timothy Alan Cooper was born on March 2,1963 in LaPorte, Indiana. to Joe L. Cooper Sr. and Mae L. Cooper.

 He lived most of his life in LaPorte and graduated from LaPorte High School. In November of 1991. Tim married Loretta Morris and to this union two daughters were born: Angelina and Alexandria. Tim enjoyed cooking, Barbecuing, singing, camping, fishing, and watching Sci-Fi movies. He loved football and the Chicago Bears was his favorite team. Tim moved to Indianapolis and worked there for many years.

Timothy Alan Cooper gained his wings on March 18, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother: Mae L. Cooper; father: Joe L. Cooper Sr. 1 brother: Joe L. Cooper, Jr., nephew: Ieshon Tubbs, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Tim is survived by and leaves to mourn his passing; his two daughters: Angelina (Aaron) Cannon, and Alexandria (Marianna Thomas) Cooper, a stepson: Anthony and three grandchildren: Haley, Lincoln, and Jakai; Siblings: Cynthia (Virgil) Smith, Wanda Ashford, Deanna O’Brien, Terrance Cooper, Tania (Charles) Taylor, and David Cooper. Aunts: Rev Margaret (Jerry) Hunt, Frances Smith, Bobbie Luckett, Ernestine Goldstein and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Timothy will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

A Celebration of life will be Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10am. Coleman & Hicks Chapel 101 S. Karwick Rd. Michigan City, Indiana 46360.

Viewing will be 9am until time of service with burial to follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
