errell Javon Bommon aka “Cosmo” was born to Annie and Tommie Bommon Jr. on March 10th, 1987, in Chicago, IL. Terrell unexpectedly departed life on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father Tommie Bommon Jr., Grandmother Christine Greer, and his niece Imani Moses.
Terrell was a smart young man with a heart of gold. There was never a dull moment with him around as he was known as the “Jokester” of the family. He knew how to light up the room with his delightful smile and playful energy. Terrell also loved to listen to music and dance. He was known as the founder of the “40’s” dance move, a dance he created while living in the Robert Taylor homes, which was known as “The Projects”. Terrell cherished his family, children, and friends. Terrell was very crazy about his kids, if they were to call, he would run to their rescue. Terrell was Johnny-On-The-Spot whenever the family needed him whether it was good or bad. Terrell always thought he had his own basketball team. Now we all know Terrell didn’t have a basketball team, but he would go downtown to sell tryout papers as a way of hustling.
Terrell leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved mother Annie Bommon (Raymont); his three beautiful children Javon Bommon, Jamiyah Bommon, and Jamari Bommon; seven siblings Shakeita Greer (Drea), Tanesha Jones (Kola), Latasha Brown, Tommie Bommon lll, Brittany Moses, Whitney Moses, and Brintezz Acklin; nieces and nephews Brandon, Earvin, Jerrieca, Kola Jr, Kaylen, King, Ausar, and Anuhea; and a host of great nephews and nieces, two special cousins Patrick Lance and Rickey Hudson Jr.
