Tajh Antonius Wimbush

His story....

Tajh entered this world on August 8, 1991 in Michigan City, Indiana to Antonio Wimbush and EdTrina Hollis.

Tajh relocated to Charlotte NC at an early age. He attended W.J. Keenan High School in Columbia SC. where he excelled in football and graduated in June of 2010. Tajh navigated life as a "Free Spirit". He had the most gorgeous smile and let's not forget the "Dimples". He ventured on many paths, but his passion was music where he had a significant social media presence and an abundance of friends. He was a proud and devoted father, son, big brother and a loyal friend. His life, love, devotion and memory will forever dwell in all who knew him.

He is Survived by his Father: Antonio Wimbush, Indianapolis, IN; a Devoted Mother: EdTrina Hollis, Charlotte, NC; 1 Daughter: Taraji Wimbush, Charlotte NC; 1Son: True King Wimbush, Charlotte, NC; 1 Sister: Arrianna (Marquis) Martin, Michigan City, IN; and his Grandfather: Mr. Hollis, Gary, IN, along with a host of a huge extended family of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Tajh Antonius Wimbush 34, of Charlotte, North Carolina (formerly of Michigan City); gained his wings on December 21, 2025 in Charlotte, NC. Tajh was preceded in death by his Paternal Great Grandparents: Lonnie and Inell Garrett, Great grandmother: Lucy Brown, Paternal Grandparents: James Hayes Cooper and Patty Jo Wimbush, Great Uncle: Clifford Murphy, Great Aunts: Bernardine Murphy and Marilyn Henderson, Uncle: Jeff Cooper, Cousin: Floyd Wimbush Jr., Maternal Grandmother: Geraldine Denwood, Aunts: Dawn Flippins and Regina Strange.

Services in Charlotte will be Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 3pm at AE.Grier & Sons Funeral Home 2310 Statesville Ave. Charlotte, NC 28206. 

 "An "EPIC" celebration of life will be held in Michigan City Indiana at a later date. A memorial fund will be set up in his honor for his surviving children. It will be established at a later date and info will be forthcoming. Please Keep US all uplifted in your prayers. Thanks for all the condolences and shared memories. WE LOVE YOU SON❤️
