Steffani T. Sanders

Steffani Tierra Sanders was born on October 16, 1988 to Cherry D. Aldridge and Darrel Sanders in Michigan City, Indiana.

Steff as she was affectionately called, loved playing basketball, welding, fishing, traveling, having fun, and enjoying her family and friends. She graduated from Michigan City High School in 2007 and studied at Ivy Tech. Steffani signed on with the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 20 in South Bend. On May 20, 2016 she started at Deluxe Sheet Metal as a Pre-Apprentice. She then started her apprenticeship on August 1, 2016 where she was also pursuing her Associates Degree.

Steffani Tierra Sanders made her transition on May 25, 2021. Steff was preceded in death by her father: Derrel Sanders, maternal grandparents: Leon Aldridge, and Willie B. Aldridge, two uncles: Leon Aldridge, and Curtis Aldridge, two aunts: Velois Mosby and Deborah Willis, paternal grandparents: Tommie, and Gloria Sanders.

Celebration of Life service will be Saturday,May 5, 2021 from 1pm to 3pm at Coleman and Hicks Chapel.

Steffani leaves to cherish her fond memories her mother: Cherry D. Aldridge of Michigan City, Indiana; two sisters: Taikasha Peterson of Michigan City, Indiana; and Gloria Sanders of Chicago, Illinois; two special  nephews: Taurius Peterson and Esau Haynes both of Michigan City, Indiana; two sons: Aztin Maxwell Holland, and Joseph Cottman both of Michigan City, Indiana; special cousins: Keith (Milana) Aldridge, special friend: Jessica Holland all of Michigan City, Indiana; four uncles: Larry Aldridge and  Rodney Aldridge of Atlanta, Georgia; Terrence Aldridge and Dion Aldridge of South Bend, Indiana; four aunts: Barbara Davis of  Gary, Indiana; Rita (Greg) Olds, and Lynda (Jimmy) Orange all  of Atlanta, Georgia; Deborah (Julie) Aldridge of Chicago, Illinois; along with a host of special cousins and friends.

Steff will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
