Sherry Lee Simpson

HER STORY....

Sherry Simpson was born August 27, 1943 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Edwin and Clara Gasaway.

Sherry was a stay at home mom for many years until her kids were older, she worked at McDonald’s Play Place for 19 years before retiring. She loved spending time with her family and making memories, she loved summer and being outside and going to the Casino.

She was preceded in death by her parents her 2 daughters Carla and Tam granddaughter Tiffanie and former spouse Donald Simpson. On May 10, 2026 at Franciscan Health she passed away peacefully.

She leaves behind her 3 surviving children: Chris (Charles Graves)  Michelle  (Byron Graves) Heidi Simpson. She has 5 grandchildren:  Krystal, Tiffanie, Heather, Brittani, Jordan and one on the way Elias. She had 4 great grand children: Nathan, Mason, Presley, Hudson. She had 1 brother: Jeffrey Gasaway. For any donations family is asking to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association. She loved her family so much, she will truly be missed by everyone she ever knew.
