Sharon Jean Kelley

Sharon Jean Kelley was born on June 26, 1947 in Michigan City Indiana, to the union of Lovie Kelley and Lillie Mae Webb.

Sharon was a life-long resident of Michigan City and attended Elston High School. She worked for ITT Phillip Drills in Michigan City as a Machine Operator for 23 years until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing and you could find her fishing at any time during the summer. She also had a passion for playing cards with family and friends. She loved her gospel music and down home blues.

Sharon Jean departed this life on June 15, 2021. She preceded in death by her mother and father and daughter Nicole Lynn Boyd.

Sharon leaves to cherish her unforgettable memories, two daughters: Evonne Bowers and Angela Carter both of Michigan City, IN; seven grandchildren: Mark Jones, Thomas Harrington, Shanise Jordan, Alesia Jeanes, Shawnon Carter all of Michigan City, IN; Brittany Kelley of Indianapolis, IN; and Samantha Carter of California; twenty-two great grandchildren and seven great- great grandchildren one brother: Clarence (Kathy) Brooks of Memphis, Tennessee;  five sisters: Carolyn Webb of Michigan City IN; Lovie Joann Kelley of Lansing Michigan; Margaret Ducan of Detroit, Michigan; Yvonne (Curtie) Hill of Atlanta Ga; and Hocellia (Walter) Morrow of Blytheville AR; five nephews: Jerry, Anthony, Ronald (her son), Raymond and Pierre, a favorite niece: Lisa Mitchell, one special cousin: Michael (Patricia) Raspberry of Indianapolis IN; one special friend: Mattie Wilkins and one god-daughter: Latissiha Howell along with a host of cousins, and other relatives.
