Shane Richard Chappell Jr.

HIS STORY... Shane Richard Chappell Jr., was born on August 29, 1999 in Michigan City, Indiana to Shane Richard Chappell Sr., and Tina M. Ringstad.

Shane loved writing and producing his own music since the age of 10 after being inspired by the rapper "Logic". He was so passionate about music that he shared his own Devine talent on Spotify and You-Tube by the name "Fearlus". He also loved to draw, go fishing, play video games, and football. His most favorite teams were the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. 

Shane was loved and adored by all of his family and friends but being a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews, was the role he cherished and took pride in the most.

Shane Richard Chappell Jr., gained his wings on January 25, 2024 unexpectedly at home at the tender age of 24. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Lynda Brooks and Lori Lloyd, grandfathers: Ricky Ringstad Sr., and Elvin Chappell, great- grand-grandmothers: Teri Rauwolf, Shirley Stribling, uncle: Ricky Ringstad Jr., cousins: Travis Clemons and Dustin Fries.

Shane is survived by his parents: Shane Chappell Sr., and (his step-mother Nicole Chappell of 22 years) both of Michigan City, Indiana; and Tina M. Ringstad of Green Bay, Wisconsin; his siblings: Alexis Ringstad, BreAnna Chappell, Austin Chappell, Johnathon Chappell, Autumn Chappell, and Serenity Chappell all of Michigan City, Indiana; grandparents: Vicki Kuzio, Randy Lloyd, Richard Brooks, and Brenda Crossno, aunts and uncles: Heidi Brooks-(Justin) Pavolka, Sherawn Chappell, Daniel (Patty) Fries, Michael Johnston, Patti Ropson, and Jackie Van Daalen, cousins: Kyle Fugate, Donovan Kussart, Steven Fries, Julia Ringstad, Joanna Ringstad, and Annabelle Gross, nieces and nephews: Eloise, Sophia, Larrison, Lexton, Jedidiah, Finn, Audri, and Amiah, close friends: Michael King Jr., Zach Walker, and Corey Lulofs.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, unique talent of music and unsolicited jokes that made us all laugh. He will greatly be missed by all that knew him.

A private ceremony and Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers.
