Samuel James Redden

Samuel James Redden, 66, Indianapolis formerly of Michigan City made his transition on February 9, 2020.

Funeral services will be 12pm Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Coleman & Hicks Chapel with Rev. Tina Redden-Littlejohn to give the eulogy. Viewing will be 11am Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Coleman & Hicks Chapel.

Samuel Redden Sr. was born September 15, 1953 to Minnie and Hubert Redden in Michigan City, IN.

Sam loved to travel and work different places mainly warehouse work.

Sam leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lynda Regina Redden; his father, Hubert Redden Sr.; two children, Samuel Redden Jr., Genisha (Melvin) Redden-Harris; Three step- children, Remon Timberlake, Shera Cheshier, Nicholas Cheshier; three brothers, Alexander (Sarah) Redden, William Redden, Clifford (Paula) Redden; two sisters, Theola Pryor and Rev. Tina (Greg) Littlejohn; Eight grandchildren, Carlos D. Green II, Myesha Frierson, Kyesha Harris, Zakia Harris, Chris Redden, Samone Redden, Jayden Redden, Kayden Redden; one great grandson and a host of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; a special cousin, Jerry Deal and his best friend, Charles L. Phillips Sr.

Sam was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Ruth Redden; one brother Hubert Redden Jr.; one sister, Shirley Redden and maternal and paternal grandparents.
