Sally will be lovingly remembered by her surviving family: her sisters, Susan Webster and Bonnie Schaaf (Dan Schaaf) of Michigan City; and brothers, David Webster (Roberto Guimaraes) of San Francisco California, Robert Webster of Portland, Oregon, and Daniel Webster of Belo Horizonte, Brazil; and her nieces, Elizabeth Neal and Robin Cottrell; and nephews, Dakota Miller and Henrique Franca; along with a great-nephew, Damien, and great-niece, Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Webster and Franklin Glidewell; her brother, James Glidewell Webster; her husband, Charles Buttshaw; and Ronald Sherman, her partner of 23 years who passed away in October 2023.
After graduating from Elston High School in MIchigan City, Sally worked at WIMS Radio Station. From there she moved to Indianapolis and worked for the CBS affiliate television channel. Following the death of her husband Charles Buttshaw, she left Indiana and lived in Las Vegas, NV where she worked for many years at the Aladdin Casino. It was there that she met her partner Ron Sherman and they moved to Medford, OR. In Medford she worked at Harry & David for many years. They had a wonderful life together, enjoying hobbies and traveling throughout the United States and South America. Sally and Ron moved to Michigan City in 2020 after losing their home to a wildfire in Oregon.
