Richard Allen Cauley

Richard (Dick) Cauley, 77, of Michigan City, IN passed away at home on June 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Richard was born August 1, 1946, in Jeffersonville, IN to Tom and Ella Cauley.  His family moved frequently during his youth, and he lived in many places including Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Texas, and Mississippi.  In the 1960s, his family settled in Gary, IN.

Richard had been an ironworker for Local 395 for 39 years. He loved fishing, playing cards, listening to music, helping his wife make wood crafts and spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by his wife: Beverly., his three children: Kelly (Jeff) Coffey, Kimberly (Eric) Antisdel, and Kevin Cauley. his siblings: Gail (John) Sullivan, Steve (Shirley) Cauley and Peggy (Pam) Cauley. his 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Bonnie, and Lee Ann, his brother: Glen and his best friend & brother-in-law, Dave Machaj.
