Rasikaben (“Sika“) Patel

Rasikaben “Sika” Patel was born on March 10th, 1936 in Mbale, Uganda. She passed away on December 31st, 2023  Michigan City, IN.  U.S.A. Jai Swaminarayan 

On December 31st, 2023 the soul (aatma) of Rasikaben Patel moved forward from this life.  Better known simply as “Sika” she was a bubbly light in the eyes of those who knew her.  Her enormous spirit made you laugh with her in good times! 

Despite her large family, Sika always made time for everyone. She provided love and support for her family. She and her husband Ramanbhai (deceased) worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their kids. She would proudly boast about all six of her children and the successes of her grandchildren. 

Sika is predeceased by her loving husband Ramanbhai, and her devoted son-in-law Hiteshbhai.  She is survived by her 6 children: Pragna (Shashikant), Gita (Tushar), Sudha (Jayesh), Nita, Sushma (Maulesh), and Sanjay (Mina).  Her 11 grandchildren:  Vishal, Shailee, Shalini (Rushyt), Mayank (Karishma), Nikita (Ricky), Poonam, Heeral, Meghna, Ekata, Kirtan, Dhaval.   Her 3 great-grandchildren: Leela, Shivaya, Swayam.
