Quintan K. Byrd

Quintan Keith Byrd was born in Michigan City, Indiana on January 12, 1984 to Debra Holley and Tony Byrd.   

He was employed by Wendy's Restaurant of South Bend, Indiana for 2 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids often taking trips and fishing. In 2019 he married Lorraine A.Carter in Michigan City, Indiana. To this union one child was born, Quintan Keith Byrd Jr. 

 Quintan departed this life on Sunday July 24, 2022 in South Bend, Indiana. He was proceeded in death by his Maternal Grandmother: Louise Thomas, his Paternal Grandmother: Johnnie Frances Byrd, Paternal Grandfather: Othalee Holley, and one Aunt: Glenda Thomas.                                                                                                                                                                       

Quintan is survived by his loving Wife: Lorraine A. Byrd, his Children: Dre'Vonne Byrd and Ta'Niyaa Hollins of Michigan City, IN: William Day of New York; Delon Byrd of Lima, Ohio; Dakarai, Devonye and Davion Byrd of Lavergne, TN; Quintan Keith Byrd Jr., of South Bend, IN; his Father: Tony (Yolanda) Byrd of Michigan City, IN; Mother: Debra Holley (Robert Hicks) of Indianapolis, IN; Grandchildren: Sylas Byrd and Cardiae Hollins, Sisters: Shewanna and Dominique Jackson, Tonisha Byrd of Indianapolis,IN; Shambriel Byrd of Michigan City, IN; Brothers: Tony Byrd Jr., of Deshler, Ohio; Dante (Chellme) Sellers, Cortez (Precious) Lemons of Riverdale, GA: Adoptive brother: Mario (Shavonte) Harrell of Michigan City, IN; Step-brother: and Step sister: James Watts, Shaniqua Williams of Michigan City, IN;  Step-children: Balana Carter, Keiara and Kashmere Ferrell of South Bend, IN: Best friend: Bobby Coats and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, August 5, 2022 at New Covenant Outreach Ministries 419 Grant St. Michigan City, Indiana 46360 with Pastor Dwayne Hurt to do eulogy. Viewing will be from 11am until time of service at 12 noon at the Church.   MASK ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS SERVICE!!!

Quintan will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
