Paulette Marie Roman

Paulette Marie Roman was born on January 23, 1960 to Pablo and MaryAnn Roman in Gary, Indiana at St. Mary Mercy Hospital. 

She went to Jefferson Elementary in Gary and graduated in 1978 from William A. Wirt High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, going to the casino and watching her favorite T.V. channel, The Game Show. Paulette was always smiling and could always bring out laughter in everyone.

Paulette left this earth and went to be with our family members who were happily welcoming her into heaven on March 16, 2022. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, parents, Pablo (MaryAnn) Roman, sister, Rosemary (Mimi) Roman and brothers, Christopher and Carlos Roman, Beloved son, Orlando Tyrone Powell and precious granddaughter, Savannah Lynn Roman.

A wake will take place on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm at Coleman and Hicks Chapel 101 S. Karwick Rd. Michigan City, Indiana 46360.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Coleman and Hicks Chapel at 12 noon. Viewing will be from 11am until time of service
with Pastor Dierre Glenn to do Eulogy.

She leaves behind her loving children: Joseph Roman, Ed (Jessica) Roman, and MaryAnn (Brittany) Powell all of Michigan City, Indiana; her sister: Julie (Raul) Gallardo of Portage, Indiana;  brothers: Mario Roman of Chicago, Illinois;  Carmelo and Fransisco Roman of Puerto Rico; four grandsons: Eddie Jr, Alexander, Donavan and Noah, a special cousin: Esther Gonzalez, two very special friends: Juanita Sheffield and Alma Marrero, nine nieces and nephews, thirteen great nieces and nephews, 

She will be greatly missed by all and her memorable laugh will keep us smiling as she watches us from heaven.
