Nora Hills Obituary

Nora B Hills was born in Blaine, Mississippi to Abron Bradley Sr. and Frances Hicks- Bradley on December 24, 1935.

Nora accepted Christ as her Lord & Savior at an early age  where she was baptized and attended New Hope MB Church in Blaine, MS.

 In 1956, she met and married McKinley Hills, Sr. and relocated to Belzoni, MS and united with Day Break Chapel Baptist Church in Belzoni, MS.

 In 1970 she relocated to Michigan City, IN and became an active member of New Hope MB Church under the leadership of Pastor R.T. Shipp where she served on the Usher's Ministry, Women's Ministry of the Northern Indiana Missionary Baptrist District Association, and the Mother's Ministry.  She enjoyed going to Church and reading her Bible. Nora was a faithful servant who Loved the Lord and people and she would do anything in her power to help others, But...she was a strict disciplinarian (more like a drill sergeant) who demanded honor and respect, but was full of Love, and absolutely adored her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, word search puzzles, and shopping and was a Dollar Store Shopping Queen. Nora was a true matriarch whose legacy will live on.

Nora went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2021 at Aperion Care. She was preceded in death by both her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, her brothers, Abron Bradley Jr., Pearcy Bradley, and Allan J. Harper, one sister, Earline Bradley.

Nora leaves to cherish her memories five children, Lorenzo Bradley of Michigan City, IN; Cathy (Dan) Lampton of Braselton, GE;
Rebecca Tyler, and Brenda Flowers both of Michigan City, IN; Grenda Garner of Decatur, GE; her step-children, Ernestine
(Howard) Austin of Belzoni, MS; Connie Edwards of Augusta, GE; Cynthia Edwards of Gary, IN; Albert Edwards Jr. of California; 2 sisters: Franes Browder of Belzoni, MS; Mildred Wilson of Tchula, MS; 14 grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Mary L.
