On November 27, 1943, in Blaine, Mississippi, a Queen was born Willie Bell Norwood to her loving parents Louise Norwood and Eddie Glover of Blaine, Mississippi.
Willie Bell was the strongest women you would ever meet. She attended school in Doddsville, Mississippi. She was later baptized at the age of 12 years old at Jacob Chapter Baptist Church in Blaine, Mississippi. She would often reminisce about her time in homemaking class and being the best student, which enabled her to cook for the principal of her school, which she was very proud of. She was a homemaker who was mother to many. Willie Bell was a kind, empathetic, generous soul who brought smiles to many faces. Willie Bell loved children, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She would often look after the children in her community. She was known for her delicious meals. Her family loved her chicken and dressing, potato salad and sweet potato pie. She loved to watch television, spend time with her family and listening to music.
