My Life Story...
Moesha Monique Savannah Payne was born in Michigan City, Indiana on November 21, 1997 To Mary Liddell and Alaric Payne.
She spent the majority of her life that she lived in Columbia, Missouri, and her ladder years in Michigan City, Indiana. She Graduated from Douglas High School In 2016, In Columbia, Missouri. Her last jobs were at Shrimp Max and The Cookie factory. Moesha Loved to sing, work, laugh, joke around, take rides, and doing family activities.
Moesha passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2025 at Franciscan Health. She was preceded in death by death her Mother: Mary Liddell-Watson, Step-father: Willie Watson, Maternal Grandfather: Burrell Liddell, Special Aunt: Latashia Graham, Paternal Grandmother: Imogene Payne, and Paternal Grandfather: Paul Payne Sr.
Moesha leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories her one and only daughter: Sy’Riha Grant; Siblings from her Mother’s side: Chiquita Kuykendall and Lillian Watson all of Michigan City, Indiana; Siblings from her Father’s side: Tamra Payne of Milwaukee Wisconsin; Thelia “Ceecee” Boyd of Atlanta, Georgia; .Michelle “Toot” Heisle, Yolanda Wilson , Allison Payne , Jasmine Payne, Lashawnda Robinson , Wilma Renea Robinson , Rickell Payne , Jessica Payne, 1 Brother: Shawndale Robinson all of Dayton, Ohio; 4 Uncles: Marcus Ballinger, Bruce E. (Gunder) Payne Sr., Wilford Payne , Rodney (Diana) Payne, and Paul Payne Jr., 3 Aunts: Lisa (Ralph ) Payne – Jones, Sophia Payne , and Ollie Payne, Neices and Nephews: She Took care of: Keenan Hawkins Jr., Key’Dan Hawkins, Keii’Moneii Hawkins, Keilyne Barnum, and Kei’Waun Barnum, Special people: Cousins: DeRico Harris, Marcus Ballinger Jr., Reknecka Mctye, Special Sister/Friends: Briana Lee, Heaven McCray, Kiara Williamson, Brother: Avery Smith, Auntie: Latricia Whetstone, along with a host of other Cousins, Aunts, Family & Friends.
Moesha’s presence, love, laughter and smile will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11am Zion Hill Baptist Church Location 2 717 E. 10th St. Michigan City, Indiana 46360 with Pastor James E. Lane Jr., to Officiate.
Viewing will be 10am until time of service at the Church. Interment will be private.
