HER STORY...
Mary Liddell was born on January 29, 1967 in Michigan City, Indiana to Lillian Graham and Burell Liddell.
Mary was a hard-working woman and attended Elston High School. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and listening to blues music. Raising her grandchildren, and spending time with family was her greatest enjoyment. She also loved taking long rides and going to the beach. Everyone loved her potato salad.
Mary was united in holy matrimony on August 8, 2006 Willie Watson, who preceded her in death.
Mary gained her wings on May 6, 2024 at Life Care Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband: Willie Watson, her maternal and paternal grandparents: Joseph and Minnie Graham, 2 sisters: Latashia Graham, and Linda Graham, 2 brothers: Briandale Graham, and Burell Liddell Jr., and a special niece: La’Shayla Powell.
She leaves to cherish her 3 children: Chiquita Kuykendall, Moesha Payne, and Lillian Watson, 6 grandchildren: Keenan Hawkins, Key’Dan Hawkins, Keii’ Moneii Hawkins, Keilyne Barnum, Kei’Waun Barnum, Sy’Riha Grant, 2 brothers: Lamont Graham, and Jerry Liddell, 1 sister: Lillian Jackson, 4 special nephews: Ikey Allen, Derrico Harris, Avery Smith, Marcus Ballinger Jr., special aunt: Delores Kiner, 2 sister in laws: Inez Nelson and Sandra Watson, 1 brother in law: Marcus Ballinger Sr., special friends: Marie Spencer, Jackie Evans, Ann Nealy, Reknecka Ashcraft, 1special cousin: Michael Mctye, along with a host of family, and friends.
Mary will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024 1pm, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 717 E 10th St, Michigan City, Indiana 46360 with Pastor James E. Lane Jr., to do Eulogy. Viewing will be 12 noon until time of service. Interment will be private.
