Martha Lou (Dennis) Wilkens

Martha Lou Dennis, was born December 21, 1953 in Tunica, Mississippi to Henry and Willie (Collier) Dennis.

She received her education at Banneker School in Pulaski, IL. She graduated from Commonwealth Business College, Michigan City, IN. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age in Pulaski, IL. After moving to Michigan City, IN she attended New Hope Baptist Church until her onset of illness.

Martha was united in matrimony to her long time friend, Harold Wilkins in 2015 in La Porte, IN. Martha was employed at Aero Metals, in LaPorte, IN until she became ill.

Martha departed this life on Sunday April 25, 2021 after a lengthy illness at Elkhart Memorial Hospital. 

Martha leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Harold Wilkins Sr. of LaPorte, IN; Mother, Willie L. Dennis, of Pulaski , IL; Mother-in-law, Marcella Wilkins of Michigan City, IN; Stepson, Harold (Kayelah) Wilkins Jr., of Michigan City, IN; Sisters, Henrietta Dennis of Pulaski, IL and Flora ( Robert) Ballard of Pulaski, IL; Sister-in-law, Connie ( Harold) Marcella of Michigan City, IN; Brothers, James ( Charlisa) Dennis of Ullin, IL; Sylvester (Schandera) Dennis of Joplin, MO; Grandson, Keven Wilkins of Michigan City, IN; Godson; Keith Childress of Mounds, IL; Special Nieces; Dorothy Collier of Chicago, IL; and Kristal Dennis of Belleville, IL; Special Life long Friends, Denise Ross, Elvia Childress, and Carol Snyder and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
