Her Story...
Magaret M. Chambers was born on June 21, 1950 to William Arley and Grace Hague Chesnut in Mountain View, Missouri.
She Graduated from Mountain View High School in 1968. Afterwards she moved to Michigan City Indiana right after graduation. Margaret attained her associate's degree from Ivy Tech Community College in the late 1990's. She was an avid camper and gardener and loved tending to her garden and house plants.
Margaret M. Chambers departed this life on August 24, 2025. She was Preceded in death by her parents: William Arley & Grace Hague Chesnut as well as her brothers: William, Wayne and Dennis Chesnut.
She is survived by her husband: of 57 years Eugene R. Chambers SR., her brother: John & June Chesnut, Cathleen Ruckel and Frances Arlene & Jerry Potempa, her daughter: Pamela & Derek Braddy, Eugene R. and Abby Chambers III, Grandchildren: Abby & Elliot Manges, Alex & Kelsey Braddy and Blake Braddy, Nicholas Chambers, Eilish Chambers, Brooklyn Chambers and Benson Chambers, She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Tristin & Wesley Manges and Oliver & Elliott Chambers.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Pamela Braddy (daughter) to pay for funeral expenses as well as the future care of Eugene.
Memorial Service to be held Sunday August 31st, 2025 from 1-4 central time at her granddaughter Abbys house at 0388 E 900 N in LaPorte. Please bring your lawn chairs, a dish if you wish as well as pictures and memories to share.
