Luecindia Brown 69, of East Chicago, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2024.
Today we are celebrating the loving Luecendia Brown. She was born to Frances Felix and Leroy White on September 9, 1954 in Cook County Illinois.
Luecendia received her education within the Chicago Illinois school system. She went back to school and got her degree in Nursing. She was a registered nurse throughout the hospitals in Chicago. While in her childhood years she accepted Christ as her personal savior and continued to love and adore God. Luecendia loved to watch the TV show named “Matlock '' and loved the movie “Creed ''. This marvelous woman loved to listen to gospel music but one of her favorites was "Made A Way" by Anthony Brown. Luecendia relocated to East Chicago Indiana and became a member of Revival Center Church Of God In Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Leo Tobias Brown, her parents: and one brother: Leroy White Jr., two children: Ashayna Brown and Sharday Moore, her grandchildren: Alvino Sevier Jr, Alvino Sevier II, Aljaniya Sevier, and AlMichael Sevier, as all of these wonderful people are kept in our heart as they were in hers.
Her legacy lives through her two sons: Jammal Muller of IL; Alvino-Kathy Sevier of East Chicago IN; her grandchildren: Barbara Muller, Zyon Muller, Jammal Muller Jr, Josiah Muller, Uhaina Muller, Almeeriana Sevier, Albri’el Sevier, Teddrick Sevier, Avyonna Sevier, Lamar Sevier, Xiamara Sevier, Dakota Murphy, Joshua Brunty, Aniyah Brunty, and Lottanisha Brunty, Lastly her great-grandchildren: Amara Murphy and Amon Murphy.
Luecendia will be missed by relatives and friends all who she loved dearly. We will always remember her as a kind person who was helpful and as a hard worker.
A home-going celebration of life will be Tuesday, July 23, 2024 11am at Revival Center COGIC 938 W. 8th St. Michigan City, Indiana with Supt. Dewitt L. Jackson Sr., to be Eulogist. Viewing will be 10am until time of service. Burial to follow at Fern Oak Cemetery 1518 E Elm St. Griffith, Indiana 46319.
