She was born on June 17, 1998, in Michigan City, Indiana to Donnell Lipscomb Sr., and Penny Lynn Morgan. Lexus brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning.
She attended LaPorte High School, where she continued her education into the medical field with determination and purpose. She had multiple certifications and her most recent accomplishment was in September 2024, she earned an Associate of Science Degree in Medical Billing and Coding from Ultimate Medical Academy in Tampa, Florida. A testament to her ambition and resilience.
Lexus was known for her vibrant personality—outgoing, funny, protective of those she loved, and always ready to lift spirits with a joke or a smile. She had a big heart and an even bigger presence. Whether singing at the top of her lungs or dancing with abandon to her favorite music, she embraced life with joy and passion. She loved Television game shows like *Jeopardy!* and *Wheel of Fortune* they were among her favorites, often shared with family. She even found enjoyment in watching games featuring “Da Bears” or the Cubs alongside her grandmother. Though sports weren’t her favorite growing up,
Lexus found fulfillment in being surrounded by those who brought joy to her life—her cherished family and friends. Among them were her best friend and chosen sisters: Najma, Rita, and Melissa. Their bond was deep and enduring. When Lexus’s cancer returned, she gifted her beloved sidekick Elf to Melissa’s son—a gesture that reflected both her thoughtfulness and enduring love. Lexus leaves behind a large and loving family who will carry forward her memories, her Father: Donnell Lipscomb Sr.; Great-Grandfather: James Lipscomb Jr.; Grandmother: Pam Parkes; Uncle: Brian “Chico” Lipscomb; Aunts: Virginia Gourley and Tajunda Parkes; Sisters: Allisha Gourley, Jessica Morgan, and Essence Lovelace; Brother: Donnell Lipscomb Jr.; Cousins: Brock Lipscomb, Felicia Lipscomb, Jasmine Lipscomb, Jalen Parkes, and Trisha Ann Hurley; Nieces: Ariana-Lynn Gourley, Ashlee Gourley, Myah Morgan, Taylor Simmons, and Asiah Simmons; Nephews: Austin Harris, Rafael Mendoza, and Andre.

She is reunited in peace with those who passed before her: Grandmother: Patricia Ann Harris; Mother: Penny Lynn Morgan; Cousin: Lareal Bonds Jr.; and Niece: Ronnie Simmons. Lexus's legacy is one of strength—she was a survivor and a fighter—and of warmth that touched everyone around her. May the memory of Lexus Raegene "Lou" Lipscomb bring comfort to all who knew and loved her
