Lee Collins

Lee Collins departed this life on December 28, 2018.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 11am at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Briggs, officiating, Pastor Ronnie Gaston, Eulogy. Viewing will be at 10am at the Church until time of service.

Lee was born February 11, 1959 in Louisville, Mississippi to the late Leodis Collins Sr. and Gladys Moore-Sparkman. On June 8, 2016 in Michigan City, Indiana he married Loretta Crawford.

He worked many years as a labor. Lee was a member of Temple Worship Center. He enjoyed fishing, sports and he was avid Golden State Warriors fan.

Lee leaves to cherish his fond memories, his loving wife Loretta Collins, Michigan City; one son, Leland (Sabrina) Collins, Michigan City; Antwon Triplett, Atlanta, Aran (Tara) Triplett Indianapolis and Darius Triplett,Indianapolis; grandchildren, Sabria, Leland, Prince, LeAsia and  Ladainian; siblings, Larry (Jo) Collins, Cedar Rapids, IA, Leatha Hicks, Williams Collins, Joe (Jackie) Sparkman all of Michigan City, David (Nikkie) Sparkman, Indianapolis, Elizabeth (Carlos) Garcia, Plainfield, Patricia (Jeffery) Edwards, Avon, IN, Patricia (Edward) Wren-Rooks, South Dakota, Ricky Wren, South Dakota, Bobbie Jean Brown, North Carolina, Denise Collins, BB (Brandy) Collins, Dee Collins, Martha (Odell) Coleman, Mary (Ekenechukwu) Arize, Naomi Collins all of Michigan City and Steven Smith, Louisville, MS; two good friends, Harold Johnson and Shelley Miller Sr. and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Leodis Collins, Jr.
