Larry Wayne Jackson Sr was born on October 14th 1950 to John and Nancy Jackson in Stanton, Tennessee.
Larry retired from Weil-McLain after 40+ Years of Service. Larry loved watching wrestling, and Black and White Westerns. He loved to get out and hunt, spend time with his family, and ride his Motorcycle. He could light up a room with his smile and his loving heart.
Larry Sr. left this earth and went to be with our family members who were happily welcoming him with open arms into heaven on February 23rd, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nancy, his brother John "JJ" Jackson, sisters Betty Riley, Bonnie Davis, Ann Wilke, his grandson Anthony Wayne, his daughter in law Tamara Jackson, and his first Love of his life Linda Kay Jackson.
Larry leaves behind his loving wife Linda Jackson, children Larry Jackson Jr., Melissa (David) Hamby, his sisters, Lucile (George) Payne, Barbara Cowgill, Linda Fensler, his grandchildren John Jackson, Cassanda J., Jordan J., Courtney J., James J., Winter J., Dale J., Rilee J., Cayden J., Landon J., Josh Hamby, Jesse H., Dawn Comeno, Haley Emerick, Maria E., Sabrina E., great grandchildren Gavin, Joseph, Mylah, Kinzley, Gracelynn, Hazel, Klaus, Jaxson, Atlas, Kristopher, Nailah, Kali, Hazel E., and Olivia. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Larry will be greatly missed by all for his memorable heart and love for all of his family and friends.
A viewing will take place on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 5 to 7pm at Coleman & Hicks Chapel 101 S. Karwick Rd. Michigan City, Indiana 46360.
