Kwasi Sequane Mitchell

HIS STORY...

Kwasi Sequane Mitchell, also affectionately known to many as "Binky" was born on August 7, 1974 to Sam Mitchell & Marilyn Mitchell in Michigan City, IN. 

No matter the challenges he faced, Kwasi never gave up. He approached life with a good sense of humor and brought joy to everyone around him. His kindness knew no bounds. He always stood strong and offered support and encouragement to those in need. He loved to see everyone in his circle win and achieve their goals. Kwasi attended Interactive College of Technology in Jonesboro, GA for the HVAC program. Kwasi was a die-hard Bears fan.

Kwasi Mitchell gained his wings on February 07, 2025. He was preceded in death by his Father: Sam Mitchell, Maternal grandparent: Charlie Seay, Paternal Grandparent: Mary Bell Mitchell, Brother: Kenyatta Mitchell, Son: Ka'Roun Mitchell, and his lovely dog Oreo. 

Kwasi will be greatly missed by his beautiful Fiancé: Monica Thomas, his loving Mother: Marilyn Mitchell, Grandmother: Virgina Seay all of Michigan City, IN; his loving Sister: Kytenica Mitchell of Atlanta, GA; his wonderful children: Kwasi II, Atlanta, Kamaris & KeShawn Mitchell all of Michigan City, IN; his lovely Nieces: Kenyatta, Keayra, Q’miya & Liberti all in Atlanta, GA; Grandchildren: Honesti, Kwa III, Johnny, Zayden (his Duke), Kyson, Naira, Ky’Aire, Zy’Mir (Papa Man), Khalil (Papa), Ki’marie, Ka’Lani, Alaya, Kaiden & Ke’Shawn II Mitchell.

His love for his family was paramount, and he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.   

A Private Celebration of life will be held. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
