Her Story...

Born on December 23, 1977, Kristi was one of a kind a great-hearted person she was special in a lot of ways!! She embraced motherhood on December 30, 1992. She dedicated her life to her five children, and her grandkids and she loved spending time with them. She loved drinking Pepsi or Mountain Dew. Krist loved spending time with her loved ones. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. Her laugh is unforgettable.

Kristi's heart overflowed with compassion, and her warm and friendly nature left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing her path. Her absence will be deeply felt, for she was truly irreplaceable.

Kristi Noelle Cooper, a beloved resident of Michigan City, departed this earth on July 6, 2023, at Franciscan Health surrounded by her cherished family. She was preceded in death by her precious first granddaughter: Maryanna cooper, along with mother-in-law and father-in-law: Judith Zitt, Lawrence Zitt, brother-in-law: Bill Zitt, ex-boyfriend: Rob Knoll, step-daughter: Kelsie Knoll, as well as numerous dear friends and relatives that preceded her in death.

Leaving behind a legacy of love, Kristi is survived by her loving parents: Michael Cooper, Barbara Cooper- Legros as well as her five children: Kaitlyn Cooper, Ronald Cooper, Amber Hernandez, Branden Cooper, Alyssa, Cooper, and twelve grandchildren, also, three brothers; Todd Legros, Jamie Cooper, Timothy Cooper, her Aunts: Lonnett (Michael) Phillips, and Debra (Rick) Brown, a beloved ex-husband who still cared dearly about her: Ronald Zitt, special friends: Joshua Shaner, Kevin Papke, Robyn Jones, Paige Schofield, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

 While she now rests in peace, her memory will forever be treasured. She was a special person!!!
