Ka'Roun Quayshon Mitchell Life's Story...

Ka’Roun Quayshon Mitchell also known as “Roun Roun’ or Stank” was born April 23, 2000 in Michigan City, Indiana to Milana Aldridge and Kwasi Mitchell.

Ka’Roun attended Michigan City High School where he graduated in 2019.  While in high school he was a member of the Michigan City Wolves football team playing the position of a defensive line man. During this time the Michigan City Wolves won two sectional and regional championships. Ka'Roun was always in good spirits and ready for a good laugh. He enjoyed listening to music and playing video games. He was a huge help around the house and attended to his younger siblings. Ka’Roun was previously employed at Alick's Home Medical as a Delivery Driver.

In 2018 Ka’Roun met the love of his life Milly Limias, whom he loved spending time with. She remained with him until his transition. Ka’roun enjoyed the times that he spent with his family and friends. 

Ka’Roun departed this life on Wednesday August 9, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents: Ethel (Herbert) Allen and Odell (Dorothy) Simmons, paternal grandfather: Sam Mitchell, uncle: Kenyatta Mitchell, and cousin: Brendan Blue.

Ka’Roun leaves to cherish his memories his sweetheart & daughter: Milly Ka-lani Mitchell; and a expecting daughter: Alaya Mitchell; mother: Milana (Keith) Aldridge; father: Kwasi Mitchell; four brothers: Keith Aldridge II, Kwasi Mitchell II, Kamaris Mitchell and Keshawn Mitchell; three sisters: Jaylin Garner, London Aldridge and Atlanta Mitchell; maternal grandmother: Kimbula Frierson and paternal grandmother: Marylin Mitchell all of Michigan City, IN; grandfather: Steve (Brenda) Simmons, Greensboro, NC;  two aunts: Sierra Frierson, Michigan City, IN;  and Kytenica Mitchell, Atlanta, GA; one uncle: Steve Simmons II, Greensboro, NC;  two special friends: Caleb Lubeznik and Royce Robertson Jr.,  of Michigan City, IN;  and a host of loving great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of his Life will take place on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 123 Helen St., Michigan City, IN 46360 at 12:00pm. Visitation will take place from 11:00am until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. 

Ka’Roun’s presence, love, laughter, and smile will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
