Johnny Nixon Obituary

Johnny L. Nixon was born Oct 9, 1961 to Clarence Nixon Jr. and Ethel M. Nixon.

Johnny accepted Christ at an early age. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, riding his bike and playing with his remote control cars. He worked at Michigan City Car Wash now (Victory Lanes) for many years. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

Johnny departed this life on November 3, 2020 at Life Care Center of Michigan City.

A celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Coleman & Hicks Chapel at 12noon. Pastor James E. Lane to do Eulogy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Nixon Jr. and Ethel Mae Nixon, two sisters, Mary and Patty Nixon, two brothers, Clarence Jerome Nixon III and Bruce Nixon, grand-parents, Herbert and Minnie Young, Clarence Nixon Sr. and Artinia Annie Nixon.

Johnny leaves to cherish his fond memories one sister, Kathy Nixon, six nephews, Jermaine Cross, Delmond Cross, Karim Mitchell, Jerome Nixon, Ron Nixon, and Stephen Nixon, Eight nieces, Ethel Nixon, Artinia Rogers, Tanya (Anthony) Washington, Elonda Cross, Marie Nixon, Carolyn Nixon, Cynthia Nixon, and Tatiana Nixon, Five uncles, Herbert Young, John Earl Young, Henry Young, Lindsey Young and Randle Young, two Aunts, Catherine Stevenson, Jean (Greg) Holt, two special cousins, Eddie and Dennis Nixon, special mom, Pandy Nixon, special friends, Lafayette Triplett, Robert Neal, Tiffany, Terri Washington, along with a host of other relatives, and all the nurses and friends at Life Care Centers.

He will be sorely missed by all that new him.
