John D. Goodwin Jr. 41, passed away on March 16th, 2020 at his home in Michigan City, Indiana.

He was born to John Goodwin Sr. and Pamela Hudson on September 25, 1978, in Michigan City, Indiana.

John possessed a fun loving spirit, he enjoyed following the Baltimore Ravens, fishing and camping in his free time. Funeral services will be private.

He is survived by his wife Candace Goodwin of Michigan City, Indiana; two daughters, Jonasai Goodwin of Grinnell, Iowa and Tejana Goodwin of Michigan City, Indiana; four sons Malique Goodwin, Marcus Goodwin, Malachy Goodwin, and Deshawn Goodwin all of Michigan City, Indiana; two sisters, Delilah Goodwin of Dallas, Texas and Takeia Goodwin of Killeen,Texas; one brother, Julius Goodwin of Chicago, Illinois; nephew, Delon Goodwin of Dallas, Texas; two nieces, De'liyah Goodwin of Dallas, Texas and Maddie Goodwin of Killeen, Texas; six aunts, Donna (Dennis) Hood, Paula Hudson, Vanessa (Robert) Paul, Sheron (Steven) Patrick and Glenda (Ellis, Sr.) Thomas all of Michigan City, Indiana and Renee Hudson of Atlanta, Georgia; three uncles, Harlan Byrd Sr., Tony (Yolanda) Byrd and Brian Byrd all of Michigan City, Indiana; many cousins and friends

John was preceded in death by his Mother, Pamela A. Lark; Father, John D Goodwin Sr.; Niece, Eisha Goodwin, Cousin, De'Andre Hudson; Grandparents, Roy B. Hudson, Sr. and Flora M. Hudson; Grandmother, Johnnie Goodwin; Uncles, Roscoe B. Hudson, Roy B Hudson and Ray N. Hudson and one Vickie Hudson.
