Joann L Strong-Richardson

Joann L. Strong-Richardson age 63 Cleveland, Mississippi, formerly of Michigan City, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 1st 2019.

Funeral services will be 12:00pm, Friday, January 18, 2019 at Coleman & Hicks Chapel with Rev. James Lane to give the eulogy. Burial will follow in Greenwood cemetery. Viewing will be 11am, Friday, January 18, 2019 at the chapel until the time of service.

Joann L. Strong-Richardson was born September 15, 1955 in Illinois to the late Douvert T. and Rosie L. Greenwade.

Joann was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She was kind, loving, and high spirited and helpful to everyone she knew. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband Amos Richardson Jr, daughter Denise Greenwade, grandchildren, James, DeVonte, Jordan, Kiana, Kiara, Corde, Dylan; great grandchildren, Anastasia, Alannah, Alaric, KaMani, Alandis, Dante, Cortez, Gavyn, DeMiya, Cyncere, Mason, Josiah, sisters, Lillian Linton, Maggie Smith; special sister, Pat Collins; brothers, Robert Perkins, Arthur Strong, Bennie Greenwade, Willie Greenwade; sister-in- law, Lucille Harris and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Douvert T. and Rosie L. Greenwade; siblings, Charlie, Earnest, Joseph, Jesse, Lorraine, Mary Alice, Rosemary, Fannie and great grandson Alijah.
