Jeffery Lane Wise

Jeffery Lane Wise transitioned from labor to eternal rest on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Methodist Hospital, South Lake in Merrillville, Indiana.

Funeral service will be June 10, 2020 at 1:00pm at Coleman & Hicks Chapel for the immediate family and the viewing will be noon on June 10, 2020 at Coleman & Hicks Chapel. Burial will take place at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family requests that CDC guidelines be followed and face masks are required.

Jeffery Wise was born on October 30,1964 to the late Jesse and Cornelia Wise in Michigan City, IN. 

Jeffery leaves to cherish his memory; his daughter, Netekia Wise; his brother, Harland (LaTanya) Stewart; sister, Anita (Gene) Wise- Williams; his aunt, Octavia (Logan) Hester, seven grandchildren; a special cousin, Keith Rose, a special friend and neighbor, James Mason, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jeffery was a graduate of Elston High School. He enjoyed being with his family and especially loved celebrating holidays. He loved listening to his old school music, especially his favorite Stylistic’s cut, Stop, Look, Listen (To your Heart)! Jeffery loved to listen to his music while hanging out with his friends at any chance he could do so.

Jeffery  was preceded in death by two sisters, Valerie Kay Matthews and Kathy Clark and daughter, Latrice Wise.
