Jeffery Bernard Billups was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 4, 1961, to Bessie McCormick Jackson and Thomas Jackson.
Jeffery Billups gave his life to God at an early age. He attended Mayo School, Douglas School, and Wendell Phillips High School. Jeffery Billups was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed the Animal Kingdom. He loved to dance and drink beer also enjoyed going to the casino. Jeffrey also did crossword puzzles in his quiet time. Jeffery raised a host of nieces and nephews.
Jeffery Bernard Billups made his transition on July 07, 2022 at 8:27am at the age of 61. He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, three brothers, Thomas Jackson Jr., Anthony Billups, and Briandale Graham.
Jeffrey leaves to cherish his unforgettable memories, his one and only son whom he was blessed with Victor Billups, two sisters: whom he adored, Lillia Jackson, and Marsha Billups, step-brother: Harold Howard, step-sisters: Latasha Graham, Mary Liddell, and Christen Smith, sister-in-laws: Sharon Oliver and Debra Malone, nieces: Latonya Jackson, Latrice Beasley, Antoinette Anderson, Danielle Malone Blakes , Debra Billups, Katrina Jackson, and Jovan Turner, nephews: Thomas Britton, Robert Robbins, Anthony Billups Jr., William Jackson, and Santana Miller, special cousins: Harriet Hawkins, Valerie Hawkins, Regina Hawkins and the McCormick Family, his significant other: Lilly Hicks and his adopted family: Cheryl and Dennis Williams, along with a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2pm at Coleman and Hicks Chapel 101 S. Karwick Rd. Michigan City, Indiana 46360. Viewing will be 1pm until time of service at 2pm. Pastor James E. Lane Jr. to give Eulogy.
Jeffrey will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
