HIS STORY...
James Michael Cobb Jr. was born on January 10th, 1979, in Chicago, IL to James Cobb Sr., and Joann Cochran.
James was a vibrant soul, known for his unwavering zest for life, infectious laugh, and his good vibes when you were around him. He was a doting father, loving son, cherished brother, and a friend to all who knew him.
James moved from Chicago to Michigan City, Indiana. He attended Michigan City Area Schools. James worked alongside his father doing security in Chicago for AT&T. His greatest achievement, the one he held closest to his heart, was his son Jamariea. Despite life's ups and downs, James always found a way to smile and bring joy to others, whether it was through a game of cards, a friendly match of basketball, or simply sharing his love for music at gatherings with friends.
James leaves behind a profound legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him. He is survived by his Father: James (Felicia) Cobb Sr.; his Mother: Joann Cochran; his Son whom he cherished: Jamariea Cobb, Brothers: Julian (Christina) Cobb, Antonio Cobb, Quentin Cobb and Brandon Merkson, his Sisters: Lisa Nate and Delicia Harris; granddaughters, Madison and Nalani Harrison.
