James Phillip Campbell

HIS STORY...

James Phillip Campbell was born on April 22, 1943 to John Christopher Campbell, and Pauline Lemerise Campbell.

 He called Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana home. He was an avid hunter for nearly 50 years. He enjoyed coaching and watching soccer games. He worked at Teresa Tender Toes Daycare as he enjoyed creative story time. 

James Phillip Campbell gained his wings on June 15, 2024 peacefully at home. He was preceded in death by his Father, John Christopher Campbell; Mother, Pauline Lemerise Campbell; and Brother, Robert Bruce Campbell.

James leaves to cherish his memory: Wife, Joe Ann Johnson Campbell, Children: John Scott Campbell, James Christopher Campbell, Elizabeth Lemerise (Campbell) Peck, Joseph Matthew Campbell, and Ian Arthur Campbell, Robert Watts, Michael Watts Johnson, Cary Johnson, Hazel Johnson-Davis, Maurice Johnson, Teresa Johnson Brown, and Omegia Keeys Harden, Brother, John Allan Campbell. Nephew, William Lee Woodson and a host of grandchildren.

A Memorial Celebration of James' life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Coleman & Hicks Chapel, 101 South Karwick Rd, Michigan City, Indiana, 46360.
