Helen M. (McDonald) Gillespie was born November 10, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She loved sewing, cooking, baking and sharing her baked goods with family and friends. She was known by family and close friends for her Fried Pies and Pound cakes.

Helen M. (McDonald) Gillespie, 75, passed away on May 3, 2020 at Life Care Nursing Home of Michigan City. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ocie Heard and one brother, Herbert Horne.

She leaves to mourn her memories, three sons, Woody, Gerald (Karen) and James. She was a loving and caring mother.
