Geneva White was born January 11, 1948 to J.D. Robinson and Maggie Lee Emory of Canton, MS.Geneva was known as the “Jill of all Trades.”
Her job accomplishments include hospitality staff, bus monitor, foster mom, car wash owner, and she indulged in many other entrepreneurial pursuits. However, her greatest passion was being a servant of Jehovah God. Geneva dedicated her life to Jehovah by water baptism in June 1982. She greatly enjoyed talking to people about the kingdom’s good news. Additionally, she greatly enjoyed sharing life stories, spending time with and talking to her family, watching old movies, and listening to music. Geneva will be missed dearly until Jehovah’s call.
Geneva leaves behind to cherish her memories, her eight (8) loving children, Antrunette Howard (Will), Cynthia Harris (Milton), Jacqueline Murphy (Greg), James Johnson, Chris Johnson (Chantey), Philantia White, Phinesia Johnson, Phelicia Heller (Paul), 30 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one (1) brother; Joe Robinson, two (2) sisters; Dorothy Blackmon (Melvin) and Hezzie Robinson, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Grandchildren: Wilnetta Robinson (Kyle), Latavia Peete-Brigantti (Naldi), LeAsia Howard, Palore Howard, Ashlee Howard, Richard Hightower, Milton Harris, Greg Murphy, Jr., Raysheona Murphy, Lexus Murphy, Cleo Sutherland, Christopher James Johnson, Darnella Johnson, Sia’ra McAuley, Ashley Johnson, Diamond Johnson, Destiny Johnson, Tre’zur Johnson, Dashay Perrin, Octavius Lucas, Brian Lang, Jr., Bria Buckley, Mario Wright, Jacyeon Sherman, Jay Barnett, Jalicia Jones, Janiyah Heller, Serenity Heller, and Seriyah White. The Great-grandchildren: Kyah, Kyle Jr. (KJ), Kylan, Amiyah, Maliyah, Reynald Jr. (RJ), Ayden, Alayah, Kemora, Kamyiah, Khaleel, Maliyah, Jada, Acharia, Legend, King, Harmoni, Kaleb, McKenzie Bullock, Neriah, and Kamari.
She was preceded in death by her parents J.D. Robinson and Maggie Lee Emory, two (2) brothers; Lee Robinson, J.D. Robinson; two (2) sisters; Sarah Greenwood, Sally Robinson; and two (2) grandchildren; Dajanay Hampton and Chikiris Murphy.
Geneva will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
