Frank Eugene Armstrong also known as “Lil Frank” was born November 23, 1948 to the late Ruth Armstrong Garner and Curlie McIntosh.
He went to Central Elementary School and he attended Elston High School. Frank enlisted in the United States Air Force as a military police. He took Modern Dancing Classes, he was a dancing machine. He loved to play cards and being with family and friends.
Frank Eugene Armstrong departed this life on September 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lenex Hayes, Uncle and his name sake, Big Frank Burnley; and one nephew, Jefferey Cooper Sr.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, one sister Kevin Ann Cooper of Michigan City, Indiana; two aunts, LaVerne Armstrong of Michigan City, Indiana and Bernice Gray of Euless, Texas; two special aunts, Mary Garner and Shirley Miles both of Michigan City, Indiana; special sisters, Veronica Irvin, Norma (Chris) Anderson, Denise (Earl) Robinson, Valerie Nixon and Susie (Melvin) Williams; special brothers, Eddie Lee Nixon, Dennis Nixon, Donnell (Ruby) Garner; nephews, Carlos Cooper Sr., Kevin (Rayniece) Cooper and Eric Cooper Sr.; nieces, Keisha Howell and Erica Cooper; special niece, Kameesha (Hamed) Williams-Awobona; two god-sons, Antonio Spicer and Katranis L. Miles; cousins, Katherine Wallace and Mickey; special friends, Roxanne White, Carol Ward, Ms. Hales and Connie Vaughn and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be 12pm, Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Coleman & Hicks Chapel with Rev. James Lane to officiate.
