Francis (“Jack”) Murth

His Story...

Francis Murth was born on December 22, 1946, to Frank Murth and Nellie Murth.

He ran track in high school and graduated from Elston in 1964. He enjoyed cooking and watching sports. He went into the army after high school, and afterwards worked at Midwest Steel for many years.

Francis departed this life on May 3, 2023, at Southpointe Healthcare Center Indianapolis, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Murth and Nellie Murth.

Francis leaves to cherish his fond memories his two children: Jessica Murth Michigan City, IN and Andre (Stephanie) Murth Indianapolis, IN, goddaughter: Teraz Hudson Michigan City, IN, and five grandchildren: Aaliyah Kelly and Tristan Ward of Michigan City, IN, Sincere Murth, Andre Murth Jr., and Brooklynn Murth of Indianapolis, IN, a friend Dennis Nixon.

A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1pm at Coleman and Hicks Chapel 101 S. Kawick Rd. Michigan City, Indiana 46360.

Francis will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
