HER LEGACY...

First Lady Rochelle Annette Allison affectionately known as "Chell' was born on October 8, 1963, in Michigan City, Indiana, to Eddie Hull Sr., and Catherine Goodwin.

 She graduated from Elston Iassac High School and was a Red Devil’s Devilette. She furthered her education at Indiana State University. Rochelle was a 5 Phi Beta Sigma sweetheart. She was the lead singer for Ebony Majestic Choir. Rochelle loved praise dancing, singing, and ministering through song and dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Rochelle worked for the Michigan City Housing Authority for 35 years as an Accountant.

She was a beacon of love and resilience, spreading joy and comfort to everyone she encountered. Her spirit was as vibrant as a hummingbird, colorful and full of life, fluttering from one heart to another, touching lives in profound ways. Rochelle was a compassionate soul, always putting others before herself. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord as the First Lady of Good Ground Outreach Ministries COGIC. Rochelle's love extended beyond her spiritual family to her biological family and friends.

 Rochelle Annette Allison was promoted from Earth to Glory on December 30, 2024 in Chicago, Illinois. She was greeted at the Golden Gates by her family that awaited her arrival. Her parents: Eddie Hull Sr. and Catherine Goodwin, maternal grandparents: Minnie Fly, her beloved daughter: Brandy Mitchell, her sisters: Louise Lavencia Aldridge, Katrina Rogers, and Valerie White, her brothers: Kent Parker, and Bruce Parker, and a nephew: Jarvis Johnson.

Rochelle was a woman of God, who loved the Lord and her family. Her life was a testament to her faith, her love for her family, and her resilience in the face of adversity. Her memory will continue to inspire us, reminding us of her unwavering faith and the power of love. 

Rochelle leaves a lifetime of memories to her husband: James Allison Sr., a devoted mother to: Brittany Mitchell, a caring sister to: Debbie (Jerome) Johnson, Debra Hull, and Kelley (Freddy) Tillman, Brothers: Eddie Hull Jr., Pastor Edker (Tina) Hull Sr., Ernest (Lannie) Stapleton, all of Michigan City, IN; step-brother: James Steward of Mishawaka; step sister: Deborah Lawhorn of Michigan City, IN; a cherished godmother to: Brandon Hull, Gabrielle Griffin, Payton Harrell, and Iyanna Adkins, all of Michigan City, IN; Rochelle also held a special place in the hearts of her godmothers: Mother Bobbie Lindsey, Mother Alice Bennett, and Mother Hodges, best friends: Jayme Staggers, Lyn Isbell, Marilyn Woods, and Lisa Alvarado all of Michigan City, IN; three special sister in laws: Linda Bowman, Sandy Robinson and Althea Woodley a special brother: Barry (Felice) Kelly, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives, friends, and Church family.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 at Greater Powerhouse C.O.G.I.C., 428 N. Woodland Ave., Michigan City at 11:00am. The visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of service at the church. Pastor Edker Hull, Sr. to be Eulogist, with Pastor James E. Lane, Jr. to officiate.

Repast: Community Christian Non-Denomination Church 2820 E Michigan Blvd. Trail Creek, Indiana, immediately following services.
