Emmaline Burr Obituary

Emmaline Burr was born on September 9, 1935 in Gary, Indiana to the late Aaron Burr and Pearl Burr.

She relocated to Michigan City, Indiana in 1972 from Gary, Indiana. Emmaline worked at Midwest Steel as a driver. She loved shopping, getting her nails done, spending time with her family and going to the casino.

Emmaline Burr departed this life on August 5, 2019. She is preceded in death by four children, Michael Burr, Robert Adkins, Terrance Banks and LaShawn Taylor; siblings, Princtiss Burr, Eddie Burr, George Burr, Anna Burr and Katherine Jones.

She leaves to mourn her memories, her companion of forty-five years, John Tyler of Michigan City, Indiana; children, Cynthia Hines of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Andre Johnson of East Chicago, Indiana and Courtney Tyler of Michigan City, Indiana; Special daughters, Brittany Taylor, Raida Steele; special granddaughters, Deheka Hines and Ashlelia Taylor; special friends, Pearline Rosbourough, Gary, Indiana, Katie Hicks of Michigan City, Indiana, Andrew Tyler and C.J. Tyler Jr.; eighteen grandchildren and a host relatives.
