Demetrius Deshon Reed
November 26, 1976 ~ December 11, 2021
He was born to Rose Hale and John Reed in Chicago, Illinois.
Demetrius was a person who loved to sing & dance, cook, play cards, travel, the life of any party, and he loved his Cadillac cars. He loved to make jokes, keep you laughing, and made sure he would leave you with a smile on your face. Listening to R&B, Rap, and House Music was some of his favorites. He lived hislife to the fullest and always made sure those that were close to him were a priority in his life. His family and close friends are forever grateful for the opportunity of having him in their lives.
Demetrius Deshon Reed, of Michigan City Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2021, at St Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father John Reed, his grandparents Della and JD McClane Sr, Aunts Dorothy and Loretta McClane, Uncle JD McClane Jr, Cousins Katrice Jenkins and Demarcus Alexander, great cousin Ira Salary and Kamari Holmes.
Demetrius Deshon Reed leaves behind to cherish his memories are as followed: Mother Rose Hale South Bend, IN; Sister, Rolonda Hale Indianapolis, IN; Brothers, John Reed Lima, OH; and Vershon Nelson Seattle WA; Son, Demetrius Reed Jr. Indianapolis, IN; Special Daughters, India Sanders Honolulu, HI; and Erryana Madry Indianapolis, IN; Niece, Johnesha Reed Atlanta, GA; Nephews, Romello Hale-Barnett Indianapolis, IN;and Jae’cion Reed Atlanta GA; Best Friend George Taylor Michigan City, IN; Demetrius also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends that he truly loved and cared about.
It is hard to accept the death of a loved one, but sadly, death is inevitable. He’ll be a special memory from now till the end of our days here on earth. If Demetrius was here today, he would say “I like it when you smile, but I love it because I’m the reason”. We pray for the soul of Demetrius, may he find peace and always watch over us all until we meet again!
