David M. Wiley Jr.

David Maurice Wiley Jr. was born September 22, 1986 in Michigan City, Indiana to David Wiley Sr. and Deborah Simmons.

David attended Raleigh Egypt High School in Memphis, Tennessee. He later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 2007. David worked at McDonalds as a cook and with hard work was promoted to shift manager. He loved playing basketball and watching WWE wrestling. David also loved spending time with his kids and enjoyed family gatherings.  His family loved him too and he was always the life of the party.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 1:00pm at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service at the church.

David departed this life on March 10, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Gene Wiley Sr., maternal grandparents, Catherine Simmons and Raymond Simmons, maternal great grandparent, Maggie L. Thomas, best friend, Terry Moore, and a very special friend Makayla Bailey.

David leaves to cherish his fond memories, parents, father, David Wiley Sr., St. Paul, Minnesota;  mother, Deborah (Chris) Simmons, of Indianapolis, Indiana;  adoring children, Amerikis Wiley, Maurice Wiley, King Wiley, Jasper Clayton and Dallas Clayton, all of Indianapolis, Indiana; siblings, Dominique Wiley, Indianapolis, Indiana; Bianca Smith, Glattbach, Germany; Diedrai Thompkins, Diamond Thompkins and Deiondrai Thompkins all of Michigan City, Indiana; Dane Wilson, Indianapolis, Indiana; Jeremy Herriott, Kent, Washington; grandparents, Marie Thomas of Michigan City, Indiana; Mary Wiley, St. Paul, Minnesota and Calvin Simmons, of Indianapolis, Indiana; godmother, Dawn Roberts, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

David will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
