D'Andre Luckett Obituary

D’ Andre Benjamin (Dre Mosley) Luckett was born on August 23, 1986 in Michigan City, Indiana to Vera Mosley and Benjamin Luckett Sr.

D’Andre confessed Christ at an early age. He attended Michigan City Area Schools. Growing up he enjoyed playing the drums and his passion for it continued throughout his life. Sixteen years ago he relocated to Sacramento, California with the love of his life Brittney Cunningham. D’Andre was an avid video game player. He also would enjoy talking to his nephews in a group chat daily. But most of all he was a true “Mama’s Boy”, he adored his Mother. He owned and operated a lawn care service and enjoyed cooking.

On September 25, 2021 D’Andre was greeted by his father in Heaven. There to welcome him home was his Maternal Grandparents: Elnora Hoskins and Nelson Weaver, Paternal Grandfather: Rev. Bennie Luckett Sr., One Uncle: Bishop Robert Lee Hurt, Four Aunts: Magdeline Hurt, Carmalita Kent, Mary Ann Kent, and Elnora Anderson.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11am with viewing from 10-11am at New Covenant Outreach Ministries 419 Grant St. Michigan City, Indiana with Pastor Dwayne Hurt  to do Eulogy. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens immediately after services.
