Mother Claudia M. Lockridge-Taylor, affectionately known as Granny, passed away peacefully on Nov. 23, 2025 with her family by her side.

Mother Claudia relocated to Gary, IN and soon after, Monterey, IN there, she married and started her family with RT Roberts Sr. Together, 9 children were born. They worked festivals, catering events, and soup kitchens. They had a gift of feeding the masses, and making people feel seen and valued, along with spreading the word of God.
After the passing of Rev. Lockridge, Claudia was bit by another love bug. She then married Horace Taylor and moved back to Monterey, IN until his passing. Michigan City became her hometown again until her passing.
