Christopher O. Jackson

Christopher O’Neal Jackson was brought into the hands of Sylvia Rai Jackson and Eddie Jackson Sr., on May 16, 1993 in Michigan City, Indiana.

As a child, Christopher enjoyed utilizing anything with technology such as having the latest game system or jamming with his new headphones. He never failed to tell you anything you needed to know about cars, especially muscle cars. As time grew on, Christopher always shared his excitement with his father when it came to working on cars or going to drag strips.

In June of 2012, Christopher hit one of his biggest milestones as he graduated from Michigan City High School with the support of his family. Following graduation, Christopher continued to pursue his favorite hobbies, such as working with cars along with helping others. Christopher was always dedicated and a caring person that always came when help was needed. He had a sense of humor that if you knew Christopher, you would understand. He loved making people laugh, and that’s what kept him going. Christopher was very ambitious and outgoing, as he simply enjoyed the company of many family and friends. 

On March 21, 2022 Christopher went to be with his parents and loved ones that welcomed him home. He was preceded in death by his parents: Eddie Jackson Sr., and Sylvia Rai Jackson, his brother: Michael L. Jackson, Grandmothers: Willie Christine Garrett and Christine Free, Grandfather: Jimmy Lee Jackson, and special aunt: Deidre Armstrong.

A Celebration of life will be Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11 to 2pm at New Hope Baptist Church 730 W. 6th St.  Michigan City, Indiana 46360 with Pastor Justin Norwood to give Eulogy.

Christopher leaves to cherish his unforgettable memories his sister whom he adored, Ashley Jackson of Fishers, Indiana; sisters: Cheryl (Marvin) Kelley of Michigan City, Indiana; and Kendra Jackson of  Jackson, Mississippi; brothers: Cornelius Hicks of Eagan, Minnesota; Corey (Vanessa) Jackson of Beaufort, South Carolina; Shaun Jackson of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Eddie Jackson Jr. of Orlando, Florida; special aunt: Louise McIntyre, special uncle: Asa (Tanya) Littlejohn all of Michigan City, Indiana.

The family of Christopher O’Neal Jackson will miss his presence, love, laughter and smile tremendously.
