Christopher Lee Cheeks Olds was born October 12, 1969 to the parents of Gregory Olds and Charleszetta Cheeks in Michigan City, Indiana. On November 30, 2021, Christopher made his transistion from his earthly house to a house NOT made by hands.
When Chris knew the Bible he was baptized at a young age of 12 years old because he loved God and he loved working in the services of the most High playing the drums and he played with all his might for the most time he played for the Little Angels Choir and the seniors choir and everybody else's choir. Chris would play when I would sing praise songs for God my baby boy I love you and MISS you so dearly.
Christopher attended Rogers High School but he graduated from Elston Senior High School. Later he decided to enlist in the United States Armed Forces where he served for many years.
He was previouly employed the for Cubs Foods Sevice but was presently working for Amazon.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories his Father, Gregory Olds of Atlanta, GA and his mother, Charleszetta Cheeks of Detroit, MI; his sisters, Jamayea Cheeks, Kelly Olds, auntie Janet Thomas and Uncle Jerome Uncle Bruce, auntie Stephanie; his nieces, Janesia Cheeks, Zionyea,Malala; his nephew Emir; Special Love from Chris extended family and his ex-wife Doris Olds and Dray White; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
So many went on before Christopher and preceded him death in addition to his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Special love and thanks to Kevin Hardwick, Christopher's stepfather, Thank you for introducing us "Your friend Kevin". If I could have, I would have liked to mention every name but Christopher loves you all friends and family.
Finally a VERY Special Thanks to Belicia P. Hicks and the entire Coleman & Hicks Staff for arranging service and burial for Chris coming in from Minnesota. Also special thanks to Mr. Mark Thomas and Nicole Chris's friend, for contributing to the final resting place Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.
Christopher will be missed by all that knew him and love him!
